Inside of bunker wood paneled. 2nd bunker 4-8-6, 1 piece of green cloth 1ft square, 1 bush hat, 1 comb, and 1 M-60 ammo pouch. Recent activity, believed they ran VC out as they came (30 min) |

Summary: Brigade reported at 0310 hours that Yellow Jacket 2936, 3 August Regimental CP within 500 meter radius XT626552. AO SUZIE date-time-group 060900-101800 requested from Brigade at 0420 hours and closed Dau Tieng at 1532 hours. B Co airborne at 1440 hours and down green at 1541 hours. Recon airborne at 1547 hours and down green at 1600 hours. The airmobile Company was released at 1600 hours to Flex Control with 13 blade hours. At 1700 hours, B Co reported location of enemy camp site and bunkers. See Items #60 and 63. AO SUZIE II approved before District at 1850 hours provided mechanical ambushes are in after 1900 hours and recovered before 0600 hours. An extension of AO NORTH was approved until 10 August 1200 hours at 2220 hours. All elements and all Districts had a negative situation report at 2400 hours except Recon who we had negative commo with. JOURNAL CLOSED |
