Summary: D Co reported the village 1000 meters north was under attack by VC at 0121 hrs at grid 340204. At 0134 hrs D Co requested a dustoff for a man injured when the 50 Cal he was operating exploded at Phouc Luu. At 0240 hrs FSB Blue reported they were receiving incoming. At 0245 hrs the ARVN compound outside Jackson reported 4 rounds of incoming. Ben Cau reported rockets and 13 rounds of 82mm incoming at 0250 hrs. Blue received more rockets at 0310 hrs. A Co finished airmobile at 0841 hrs, B Co finished at 0922 hrs, C Co finished at 1040 hrs, and the C&C was released at this time. At 1850 hrs Duc Hue reported 18 rounds of incoming. At 2320 hrs it was reported that FSB Jackson could be the target of limited attack by fire and ground probe. |
