Summary of today's events: B Co conducted 2 platoon-size RIF in AO CRACKER, neg findings. C Co conducted night operations with negative results. A Co 1/5(Mech) conducted joint US/ARVN ballgame with 3/7 ARVN and RF and PF's, results: 3/7th ARVN loc 698179 found 1 tunnel 400 meters long, inside contained 1 pistol belt, 1 ammo round, 2 packs. 3/7th also found at loc 697173 one tunnel containing 1 gas mask. Also at 698177 to 698178 suspected base camp with misc. sleeping gear and recent fires. 246 and 288 RF Co found at loc 684156 1 B-40 rounds, 2 drums of machinegun ammo, 1 booby-trap grenade with trip wire. |
