Message from Cpt. Collins (LNO at Duc Hoa) at 1530 hrs, 11 Nov. 68, the 267B Bn., 300 men crossed the river between 544904 & 511890.  They were wearing blue uniforms, pith helmets and Ho Chi Minh sandals.  They were armed with 2-82mm mortars, 3 machine guns, 1 75mm recoilless rifle, 1 flame thrower & many B-40 B-41 rockets.  Source knows CO & XO mission attack FSB Keane tonight

2/14th Inf continued to operate in AO Dip and AO Quick.  Continued efforts to break down the VC infrastructure and progressing according to scheduled plans.  D Co. located 4 bunkers at 638773 and destroyed same.  Received 6 or 7 rounds incoming mortars.  Fired a C/M program (counter-mortar) and incoming ceased.
The 2/14th Inf. will continue efforts to destroy the V.C.I. in AO's Dip and Quick.
AP's and LP's will be used to provide early warnng to FSB and N.L.
