		Daily Sit/Rep 201801H to 211800H Apr 67 1. Operations Summary. a. General: 2/14th Inf continues to conduct security operations in vic Cu Chi base. Beginning at 211400 hrs one company departed OP Ann Margaret to S&D in sector from the OP to vic XT629296 where an RON site was established. In addition, one reinforced squad size ambush patrol was conducted during the hours of darkness and the bridge to OP Ann Margaret was maintained by one reinforced squad. Also, a platoon CP was established vic OP Ann Margaret. b. Co A departed OP Ann Margaret at 211400 hrs to conduct S&D operations in sector vic XT629196 and upon arriving at designated location established an RON site. In addition, Co A conducted one reinforced squad size ambush patrol during the hours of darkness. c. Co B established a platoon CP vic OP Ann Margaret and secured their portion of the battalion perimeter. d. Co C secured the bridge of OP Ann Margaret with one reinforced squad and maintained their portion of the bunker line. e. HHC maintained their portion of the battalion perimeter during the hours of darkness and continued to prepare for the forthcoming operation. 2. Operational Plans: 2/14th Infantry continues to defend in sector vic Cu Chi base camp. The battalion advance party will depart by motor convoy for fire support base SOUTH at 220900 hrs Apr 67 vic XT464289. Four reinforced squad size ambush patrols will be conducted during the hours of darkness and Co A will maintain their CP vic XT629126. In addition, the bridge to OP Ann Margaret will be maintained by one squad and a platoon CP will be established vic OP Ann Margaret. Also, Co A will return to the Cu Chi base camp during the morning hours.
