16	0720	B Co reports one new man on outpost Ann Margaret saw movement and fired one round into the air. Movement was a patrol from 1/27th Inf (Ambush Academy), no casualties.
17	0920	5 men from B Co are going to test fire weapons at outpost Ann Margaret.
18	0950	Col Shaw will inspect the old Laterite pit and sanitary field at 1045 hrs.
19	1025	EOD team finished blowing duds at Ann Margaret.
21	1615	New Laterite pit reports element from the 3/4 Cav found 2 8-inch shell duds approx 100 meters down the road from the new Laterite pit. Notified 44th EOD, they will send a team to blow them.
22	1645	Outpost Ann Margaret heard 5-6 carbine rounds fired over AM from wood line on west side of bridge, approx XT655170. Called to find if any friendly elements were in area. Capt. Brown instructed AM to take under M-79 fire if they received any more. Called bridge, they also heard about 10-12 rounds. Bridge thought it was the 12-man patrol that left the bridge at 1645 hrs. Patrol had rubber rafts. Told them not to fire near the creek. DP #1 finally reported they had been test firing their weapons and did not report the firing or that they had left Friendly Front Lines.
32	2055	Radar reports 4 people moving south at XT616166 toward Patrol 1.
41	2350	3 suspected VC at XT629179 engaged with Arty. Report from Radar.
