11	0535	Hiker Alpha at Ann Margaret, patrol is short two men, called patrol leader on landline. Patrol fired re-entry flares after having kneeled to the ground to avoid showing themselves. The patrol had flank security out. When the patrol got up to move, flank security on both sides, which was out 30 meters, did not get the word to move and were left behind. Patrol closed Ann Margaret at 0450, discovered the two missing men, went back out, could not find them and returned to A/M. The 2 men closed A/M on their own at 0517 hrs. Patrol together, returned to ambush academy.
14	0640	Old Laterite pit reports SA and AW near RF outpost in Vinh Cu, 250 meters from bunker 6. Reason for firing unknown. Started at 0610 hrs to a direction of 180 degrees from old Laterite pit. Also some ARVN outpost fired 60mm White Phosphorous rounds.
15	0645	A Co reports starting to move towards base camp, neg contact. Firing Arty into XT625184 where Div Arty picked up movement.
32	2010	Bunker 17 & 18 informed us they have no claymore wire, are being replaced by A Co.
36	2130	B Co patrol 1 reported observing 6 bursts WP 81mm at 20 degrees from his night position toward the NLP, the 2/27 was firing these rounds.
