28	0950	MEDCAP left base camp
43	2050	B Co patrol 1 spotted movement at XT6261278, patrol 2 notified.
44	2050	Bunker 16 spotted 3 people at XT633186, patrol 2 notified.
45	2055	Bunker 16 fired one 45 round at suspected movement.
46	2100	3 suspected VC were reported at XT656183, patrol 3 notified.
51	2212	Bunker 7 received one round from suspected carbine at same time Ann Margaret reported hearing 2-3 rounds from direction of bridge. Bridge reported hearing one round.
52	2220	Lancer notified us of 5-6 VC moving north at XT658178. Notified patrol 3 to be alert.
55	2325	Lancer notified us of 8-9 personnel in XT66661760. Notified patrol 3 and Ann Margaret.

9	0637	C/2/14 (1 platoon) off ground for airmobile assault to LZ XT599118.
11	0745	A/4/9 patrol MERCURY found what appears to be a diary at vic XS6899943. It will be sent to Bde TOC. Diary was the only thing found in this area. Patrol was engaged by unk size VC force at 262046.
15	0910	C/4/9 reported capturing following items vic XS706936 (inside village): 1 Zippo lighter, GI belt with buckle 30 in waist, 1 tail assembly for 60mm mortar shell US type, 6 homemade batteries in PRC-10 battery case, 2 smoke grenades (1 red, 1 yellow) expended with hole drilled in bottom of each one.
22	1945	1st Bde VR spotted 1 sampan at XS600870 with approx 6 VC in it. Requested Arty, results 4 VC KIA (BC), 2 VC KIA (Poss). Sampan was destroyed.
26	2047	4/9 tower observed an explosion in vic XT671145. continuing to observe.
28	2055	2/14 bunker 16 shot 1 .45 Cal round at suspected VC movement.
31	2215	2/14 bunker 7 reports receiving 1 round SA. At the same time Ann Margaret reports the bridge rec'd 3 rounds SA. No casualties.
32	2220	Div Arty radar picked up 5-6 personnel XT658178 moving north.
33	2248	Div FSC radar reports 8-9 personnel vic XT66261772.
37	2400	SUMMARY: Opns ALA MOANA and MAKALAPA and security opns vic of Cu Chi base continued. ASCC's remain established at Cu Chi and Vinh Loc. 4/9 Inf conducted local security opns and night ambush patrolling vic XS7094. 2/14 Inf continued security opns vic Cu Chi base and conducted a platoon airmobile BUDDY S&D vic XT6211 with neg contact. PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf Bn will conduct one platoon size S&D opn vic each base and night ambush patrolling. 2/14 Inf Bn will continue security opns vic Cu Chi base. 4/23 Inf continue as Div reserve.
