2	0830	From Special Services to 33:  The Donut Dollies will visit 2/14 Inf from 081300-081450.  Transportation will be provided by the Special Services.  The only requirement for the units will be that they have their 1st Sgt or authorized representative to meet the girls and take them to the place where the troops are assembled.
8	0940	B Co reports apprehending 55 miscellaneous civilians at sanitary fill.  Bring them to S2 for processing.

		Initial log entries contain hourly sit/rep, no change.
13	1035	3/4 Cav APC hit a mine XT543177.  APC turned over and burned.  4 WIA.  3/4 Cav requested assistance of one Inf platoon to sweep area.  Sent C/4/9.
14	1055	Air strike at 0930 vic XT663255 resulted in 50 meters of trench destroyed.
15	1100	Ref Item 13.  C/4/9 platoon departed Cu Chi base camp with 3/4 Cav for sweep of area vic XT543177.
16	1200	2/27 observed two individuals vic XT614178, called Arty.
17	1215	2nd Bde reported 5 VC with weapons at XT614318.  Called in Arty.  VC are moving northeast at this time.
18	1220	A FAC was fired upon at XS630910 at 1500 with AW weapons, no results at this time.
19	1235	Ref Item 17:  A light fire team from 2nd Bde is going to sweep area at XT614318 after Arty is finished.
22	1315	A/3/4 Cav picked up 2 detainees vic XT541186 trying to run out of area, and 2 detainees vic XT551178 running in to a hooch.  One M-16 magazine was found in hooch.  Unit will evac.
24	1415	4/23 reports a 175mm round on the north left corner of Ann Margaret bridge.  EOD team will check.
26	1545	Ref Item 24:  EOD team went to pick up 175mm round, was found to be inert.  Round was removed.
31	1830	A Lowboy hit mine at XT538179, 3/4 Cav sending platoon to clear road and bring lowboy back to base camp.
39	2125	B/3/4 Cav helicopter received one round SA fire at XT544178.
43	2400	SUMMARY:  1st Bde continued opn ALA MOANA and remained control headquarters for Cu Chi base defense.  4/9 Inf continued security opns vic Cu Chi base camp and patrolling vic FILHOL Plantation.  4/23 Inf continued security opn vic Cu Chi base camp and terminated a S&D mission vic XT6418. PLANS SUMMARY:  4/9 Inf contnued security opns vic Cu Chi base camp and conduct patrolling in the FILHOL Plantation.  4/23 Inf will conduct a reinforced S&D opn vic XT5121.
