From S3 to companies: Mass will be held at Bde Chapel north by the 77th Arty at 021900 Feb 67, also Mass will be held t Bde Chapel south by swim pool at 030700 Feb 67.

C Co reports that bunker 2 accidentally fired one 106mm round in front of their bunker. They are sending personnel out to see if anyone was injured.
12 1030 C Co CO informed S3 that 2 civilians were wounded by the 106mm that was fired. The civilians are being taken to the aid station. The 106mm was a canister round. 14 1112 From C Co to 33: One child and one woman died.

1st Bde terminated as NCS to unit concerned.
13 0745 C/2/14 requested to fire 106mm from Outpost Ann Margaret. Granted. 14 0855 C/4/9 reports three shots fired vic XT700189. Shots not fired at friendly troops, assumed to be warning shots. 22 1600 Delayed Entry 1000 hrs: Recon platoon 4/9 found notebook, leaflets, bloody rags and sandals at XT696172, and at 0900 hrs found 3 grenades, 2 US and 1 Chicom, 1 shell casing of 57mm recoilless rifle at XT703179. At 0915 hrs heard 3 shots, no contact, no VC observed. C/4/9 captured 1/2 lb of documents and a metal sign stating "Yankee Go Home". 23 1705 Delayed Entry 1245 hrs: C/4/9 reported they found 10 fresh graves at XT698174. 30 2300 Delayed Entry 2120 hrs: A/3/4 Cav tank at XT550173 hit an AT mine, two road wheels blown off, no casualties. 32 2307 Delayed Entry 2208: A/3/4 Cav VTR moving north hit by AT weapon at vic XT616133. No damage to VTR. Continuing north to pick up tank. 33 2310 A/3/4 Cav VTR linked up with tank, now moving south toward Cu Chi. Closed B/C 2355. 36 2400 SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued opn ALA MOANA and conducted security opns vic Cu Chi base camp. 4/9 Inf conducted one Co size sweep vic XT698188. 4/23 Inf conducted a security mission on Route 1 from Cu Chi to Hoc Mon bridge vic XT712071.
PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf will conduct a Co size S&D mission and provide one Co as Div Base Reaction Force. 4/23 Inf will continue Route security mission on Route 1 from Cu Chi to Hoc Mon.
