2	0720	From S3: The PF's with the 155mm Battery moving from this location hit a booby-trap.
12	1005	From II Field Forces: 2 ferry's, 30 boats, 56 sampans will depart Binh Duong 270800 Feb 67, to Dau Tieng closing late on 27 Feb 67. Boat convoy will depart Dau Tieng 030800 Mar 67. White panels will be spread along tops of the boats and ARVN flags will be on the bow.
15	1030	From S3 to companies: Notified all elements to refrain from driving on roads around the base camp, road conditions are bad and are being repaired.
19	1220	From 155 Btry to 33: The 155 Btry that went south to fire their guns reported receiving sniper fire from vix XT501437. No friendly casualties.
26	1415	B Co reported locating a 4.2 dud round vic XT501487. They have no means to destroy it, request a demo team.

6	0500	B/3/4 Cav found a bridge destroyed vic XT543177. At 0445 hrs 2 craters in teh SE corner 6 ft wide and 12 ft deep. In the NW corner APC can cross, tanks cannot.
10	0715	Ref Item 6: Engrs will try to repair with timber.
11	0855	3/4 Cav reported that a civilian bus hit a mine vic XT543178 at 0825.
12	0920	B/3/4 Cav departed Ann Margaret at 0915 with 1 platoon of 4/9 moving to area of B-52 stike vic XT645225.
13	0925	2nd Bde reports 3 males vic XT619175. No weapons observed, permission to fire Arty - granted.
14	0942	Sub Sector advisor Phu Hoa Duong states that informant passed info that after attack on A/4/9 VC withdrew in a SE direction, then north along river to Phu Hoa Duong. They are hiding in houses vic XT714202 to XT717208. VC entered Phu Hoa Duong at 260700 Feb and were still in the area 270800 Feb. They have many wounded. Counterpart rates info A/1.
15	1034	Ref Item 12: B/3/4 Cav was recalled from present mission by 1st Bde CO.
16	1037	G-3 passed info that ARVN advisor's jeep rec'd fire 0940 vic XT625124. No hits, no casualties.
17	1103	Centaur gunship in support of 3/4 Cav reported: 1. 1000 hrs: Rec'd 4 rounds SA fire from 1 indiv in trench vic XT636225, returned fire and called Arty. Results unk. 2. 1015: Observed 1 individual in trench moving SE vic XT648215. Aircraft did not receive fire. Recon by fire and called Arty. Results unk.
18	1113	Ref Item 13: 2/27 fired 4.2 mission vic XT619175, resulting in 3 VC KIA (Poss).
20	1150	Gunships on station to support opn vic XT71425.
23	1234	4/9 CO observed group of individuals vic obj area moving south. 3/4 Cav aero rifle platoon airborne to block southern movement, vic XT723197.
24	1237	3/4 Cav gunship observed person in obj area vic ST714205. Taking under fire. Results unk.
25	1245	B/4/9 in blocking posn vic XT715198.
26	1250	1st Bde CO granted CO 4/9 permission for gunships to fire on all north of 20 EW grid and east of NS 718 grid.
27	1305	Air strike coming in vic ST716204.
28	1320	B/3/4 Cav observed 25 VC vic XT713205.
29	1327	B/3/4 Cav picked up 6-7 detainees with one weapon vic XT714207.
30	1407	Recon 4/9 picked up 10 detainees vic XT700189. Will evac.
31	1412	Sub Sector advisor Phu Hoa Duong rec'd report from civilian populace that VC have moved to loc vic XT717197 to XT717207.`
32	1421	B/4/9 located one VC body vic ST713197. 1 VC KIA (BC).
33	1422	B/4/9 rec'd light sniper fire from vic XT719198. B/3/4 Cav moving to assist.
34	1440	Rec'd info from Sub Sector advisor that 262200 200-300 VC were observed moving W to E vic XT740145. At 270400-270500 they moved North to Ap Nha Viec vic XT742167.
36	1500	B/3/4 Cav found numerous tunnels at vic XT715205. Also at same loc spotted 8 VC, was brought under fire - 1 VC KIA (Poss).
37	1545	AO that was assigned 3/4 Cav for the 28 Feb - 1st Mar was cancelled.
38	1620	From G-2: Arty LNO 1 VC KIA and 1 WIA spotted from air as a result of Arty fire at vic XT7317.
39	1630	B/4/9 equipment found in vic of XT698192 as a result of A/4/9 enemy contact = 1 Chicom grenade, 5 BAR magazines (100 rds .30 cal), 60 rds 7.62 ammo, 2 carbine magazines US (30 rds), more of report will follow.
41	1625	B/4/9 has a detainee being brought into Cu Chi.
43	1815	B/4/9 and B/3/4 Cav opns terminated at 1800 hrs.
46	1850	Ref Item 41: 87 detainees in all, 42 were brought to Cu Chi, 45 were turned over to National Police for security.
47	1904	B/4/9 and B/3/4 Cav closed Cu Chi at 1855.
56	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued security opn vic Cu Chi base camp, maintained control headquarters for Cu Chi base defense and conducted S&D opns in the FILHOL Plantation. B/4/9 Inf conducted a S&D opn vic XT7119 with B Troop, 3/4 Cav. 4/23 Inf returned to 1st Bde control. PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf will continue security opns vic Cu Chi base camp and provide one company as Div Base Reaction Force. 4/23 Inf prepares to conduct security opns vic Cu Chi base camp.
