10	0730	At 0650 hrs Dawn patrol 3/4 Cav observed roadblocks at XT543178 and XT539179. Blocks consisted of earth mounds. Traffic was bypassing.
12	0805	B/4/9 picked up one detainee at XT684145. He had 2 ID cards and neither one belonged to him. Holding for interrogation.
14	0951	2/7 ARVN found (2) 45 Cal pistols loc vic XT685156.
16	1025	A/4/9 saw 6 people in light colored shirts vic XT691152.
17	1030	2/7 ARVN loc XT685156 found 4 BAR magazines with ammo
23	1920	4/23 reports 2 men hurt from blasting cap. Not serious.
30	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued security opns vic Cu Chi base camp with A/4/9 Inf conducting S&D BUDDY opn vic XT6815. PLANS SUMMARY: 1st Bde will continue base defense and ambush patrols.
