ITEM`	TIME	INCIDENTS, MESSAGES, ORDERS, ETC.
6	1100	From S3 to Co's: Informed A and B Co that they each have 2 squad-size patrols for tonight. Notified C Co they had 2 platoon size patrol for them to have their patrol leaders report to Bde TOC for briefing.
8	1450	From 25th Inf Div to S3: Informed 2/14 that Danger was going to fire at 2 sampans located XT4553. No troops in the area.
10	1600	From S3 to Co's: Notified that they would have 1 platoon size patrol each for the 21 Feb 67. Also notified C Co that they would have 2 squad size patrols for the day of 21 Feb 67. Would like for patrol leaders to report to Bde TOC at 1900 hrs for briefing.
14	1800	From Capt Craig to 33: As of 21 Feb 0830 hrs Co C 2/34th Armor, 4th Inf Div will assume responsibility for all convoys between DAU TIENG and TAY NINH. They will clear the road and report directly to Tropic 65.
16	2218	A Co reports seeing 2 VC at vic XT500478. A Co engaged with SA, results unk.

9	0835	41 friendly boats convoyed from Dau Tieng on Saigon River to Phu Chong vic XT8113. Front boat will carry a red panel marker and South Vietnamese flag.
10	0850	B/4/9 test firing 81mm mortars. When firing was finished, 2 unknown Vietnamese got up from a hidden post and ran.
19	1948	4/9 observed 1 personnel at Laterite pit and set of CS grenade.
20	2000	4/9 spotted a light at XT668163, checking it out with Starlite. Neg results.
22	2020	Ref Item 20: At 202020 - spotted 3 VC at same location, called 81mm mortar. Results unk.
27	2310	4/9 apprehended one female vic Laterite pit. Is being brought back to Div for interrogation.
29	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde, thru 4/9 Inf, continues security opn vic the Cu Chi base. 4/9 Inf Bn continued security opn vic Cu Chi base. One Co is the Base Reacton Force. Co A continues to operate from a separate base loc vic XT698192. No CAS were flown in support of Bde opns. PLANS SUMMARY: 1. 1st Bde assumes responsibility for controlling the defense of the Cu Chi base perimeter. 2. 4/9 Inf Bn will continue security opns vic Cu Chi base, one company as Div Base Reaction Force, and maintain a separate company base vic XT698192. Bn will assume patrolling responsibility in 2nd Bde sector commencing 211600 Feb 67.
