ITEM`	TIME	INCIDENTS, MESSAGES, ORDERS, ETC.
		Initial log entries contain hourly sit/rep, no change.
8	1100	From S3 Bde to 2/14: SMaj Wilson of S-3 1st Bde stated that 2/14 was excused from sending 1 combat platoon to mines and booby-traps course on 20 Feb 67 but that 2/14 would send 30 personnel to Explosives and Demolitions Course on 17 Feb 67.
9	1425	Personnel from 725th Maint requested permission to test fire SA from Outpost Ann Margaret, permission denied by Bde.
11	1450	From Bde S3 to Capt Cecchine: 2/14 will assume responsibility of manning OP Ann Margaret effective tomorrow approx 1200 hrs.
12	1540	From Bde S3 to S3 Air: C Co of the 2/14th inf will assume responsibility of OP Ann Margaret at 0800 hrs 15 Feb.
13	1500	Bn CO and Bn S-3 departed 2/14 area for aerial recon of Dau Tieng area.
24	2341	Bunker 21 reports trip flare set off in front of Bunker 6, checked out, negative results, found guards in the bunker asleep.

		On this day the 2/14th Inf Bn was the only battalion attached to 1st Brigade. Since most of the 2/14 S-3 log entries above were also reported to Brigade HQ, they were duplicated in the 1st Bde S2/S3 log, but they will not be repeated here. I've included only entries that contain unique or unusual information
20	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued security opns and maintenance vic Cu Chi base. No air strikes were flown in support of Bde opns. 2/14 Inf Bn continued security ops and maintenance vic the Cu Chi base and provided one Co as Div base reaction force. Co A conducted local security opns vic Cu Chi and provided one plat for security of laterite pit. Co B acted as Div base reaction force. Co C conducted security pons vic Cu Chi. 4/9 Inf Detached. 4/23 Inf Detached. PLANS SUMMARY: 2/14 Inf Bn will conduct security and patrol opns vic Cu Chi base area. Co B will continue as Div base reaction force.
