15	0830	From S3 to Bde: At 0830 hrs 13 Feb 67 3/39 Inf assumed control of Rach Kien Base Camp. 2/14 Inf prepared for movement to Cu Chi.
16	0915	From Recon to S3: Convoy from Cu Chi arrived at Rach Kien at 0915 hrs.
19	1100	From Patrol 1 to S3: A Co platoon-size patrol loc XT 684172 in patrol base has one reinforced squad loc XT 688171 at 1100 hrs, no enemy contact.
29	1320	Convoy closed 2/14 Inf Base Camp.
32	1500	From S3 to S3: 2/27th Inf will have troops moving out on road through outpost Ann Margaret at approx 1700 hrs today.
33	1550	A Co patrol closed Ann Margaret at 1550 hrs.
34	1555	From S3 to Bde: Informed Lt Voto by telephone that PFC Tracey (Battery one score of 108) and PFC Steward (Battery one score of 110) would attend Drivers Training from the S3 section at the Battalion Dispatch Office at 0800 hrs 14 Feb 67.

		On this day the 2/14th Inf Bn was the only battalion attached to 1st Brigade. Since most of the 2/14 S-3 log entries above were also reported to Brigade HQ, they were duplicated in the 1st Bde S2/S3 log, but they will not be repeated here. I've included only entries that contain unique or unusual information
22	1345	B/2/14 took over base reaction company from 3/4 Cav.
23	1350	2/14 is relieved by 3/39 Inf (Rach Kien)
24	1505	Delayed Entry: LANIKAI opns terminated at 131314 Feb 67
28	1905	2/14 Recon closed Cu Chi.
29	1920	From duty officer Duc Hoa to be relayed to FAC team, Tan An - thru Capt Hagman: 1. AO Pineapple is still in effect. 2. Long An Province FAC's are authorized to put air strikes in AO Pineapple starting 1200 hrs 14 Feb 67 until notified differently. 3. Notification to this HQ (1st Bde) of intent to put in air strikes is not required and to obtain ground clearance.
36	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued opns vic the Cu Chi base and terminated opn LANIKAI in Long An Province. ASCC's vic Tan An and Rach Kien were also terminated. No air strikes were flown in support of 1st Bde opns. PLANS SUMMARY: 2/14 Inf Bn will conduct security opns vic Cu Chi base area. Co B/2/14 will continue as Div base reacton force.
