27	0935	From 46th ARVN Advisor: 2 VC bodies found XS 743748, killed by SA, dead approx 3 days. Apparently killed during action on 22 Jan involving 1/46th ARVN.
66	1915	C Co Patrol 1 reports that they spotted 2 VC at coord XS 753695 and it looked like they were setting up an ambush, called in Arty, neg. results.
78	2155	46th ARVN reports that they rec'd sniper fire on one of their ambushes coord XS 743738, returned fire with 81mm mortars, contact broken.

17	1117	C/4/9 platoon has 1 detainee vic XS781824.
22	1334	2/14 rec'd report from 1/46th ARVN that VC in civilian clothes will, or possibly already have, infiltrated into village of Rach Kien for purpose of planning mortar attack against 2/14 base camp.
31	2035	C/2/14 patrol 1 spotted 2 VC at XS735695, called Arty, results unk.
37	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continues opns FAIRFAX and LANIKAI. 4/9 Inf conducted search opns vic XS7883 and conducted local security in AO. 2/14 Inf conducted local security opns vic Rach Kien. PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf will continue FAIRFAX with local security and ambushes in the fwd base areas. 2/14 Inf will continue LANIKAI with an airmobile S&D BUDDY opn wit h1/46th ARVN and 3/10 CAV (ARVN) vic XS7373 and 7374. A/2/14 and 3/10 Cav will establish night base vic XS718714.
