ITEM`	TIME	INCIDENTS, MESSAGES, ORDERS, ETC.
2	0020	4/9 AT patrol executed an ambush against an unknown number of VC at vic XS641769 at 040005 hrs. Search teams dispatched but did not find anything significant at scene of ambush. VC were observed fleeing north. Engaged with Arty, results unknown. Patrol relocated XS636765.
6	0135	2/14 inspected patrol at 0115 hrs, passed. Inspection completed 0130 hrs.
13	0555	4/9 fwd patrol is going back to original ambush position to search area of last night's activity.
22	0755	4/23 lift has been delayed for undetermined time doe to low ceiling.
23	0800	From G-1: 2 civilians will arrive Ben Luc 1000 hrs, then go to Tan An. Equal to rank of LTC. No formal treatment required. Names are Mr. Helue, Dept of State, Mr. Pere, Political Section, Dept. of State. They they are interested in Revolutionary Development.
24	0810	Cpt Byers 2/14 notified to provide 2 gunships to escort Engr equipment from Bao Tri to Cu Chi, contact Cpt Johnson, Fireball 4.
28	1028	C/4/9 have a total of 9 detainees. Also picked up a 3-band FM (Civilian type) radio vic XS662778 with operator who was monitoring C/4/9 frequency. All personnel turned over to MI.
32	1300	To G3, 2/14: 1/5 Mech will be coming through Ann Margaret at approx 1330-1345, 5 tracks pulling 5 tracks.
36	1350	Be prepared to commit the 2/14 in the morning, possible. Be alerted to the possibility of committing the 4/9, 4/23 composite. Possible introduction under 2nd Bde.
37	1400	Elements in Dau Tieng area are engaged with 9th Div. 9th Div personnel were the ones who hit Bau Don.
40	1440	C/4/23 finished sweeps of objectives, neg contact. Preparing for extraction by RAG boats.
42	1455	2nd Bde notified to come up on 2/14 frequency until closing Ann Margaret.
45	1520	2/14 located and destroyed (4) 105mm duds, neg contact, still moving 668193.
48	1625	2/14 alerted for possible move tonight and 4/23 alerted on (2) hr notice to take over Ann Margaret.
49	1715	3/4 Cav (10) tracks unstuck and moving toward Ann Margaret. Also 1/5 Mech on move to base camp through Ann Margaret, ETA unk. How much of 1/5 Mech not known.
60	1945	B/3/4 Cav loc XT655194 to coil here tonight.
63	2030	From Div G-3: 2/14 Infantry attached to 2nd Brigade 2200 hrs.
69	2200	2/14 detached from 1st Brigade.
76	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde continued Opns KANIKAI & KALIHI. 4/9 Inf continued LANIKAI with two airmobile S&D BUDDY Opns vic XS660770 & XS6173. 2/14 continued KALIHI with Bn (-) conducting S&D opns vic XT6821 to Ann Margaret. 4/23 Inf continues preparation for move to Ben Luc. PLANS SUMMARY: 4/9 Inf will terminate participation in Opn LANIKAI by moving C Co and HHC from Ben Luc to Cu Chi. 4/23 Inf Bn (-) Co B will move to Ben Luc. 2/14 Inf Bn will continue as a contingency force for Opn ATTLEBORO.
