10	0712	Co C Patrol closed Base Camp.
11	0800	From S3 Rear: Mail helicopter will arrive your location approx 0830 hrs. Tail No is 823 and helicopter will land in potato patch near Bn CP. Maj Whitener will also arrive on this flight to your location.
13	0955	From S3 Rear: Brigade just informed 2/14 Rear that all 2/14 elements will return to Cu Chi on 14 Sep by truck convoy.
15	1030	From S3 to Bde S3: Chopper required for helilift back to Cu Chi is A Co - 122, C Co - 129, HHC - 29, total 280.
16	1450	Bn XO, Maj Whitener, departed Bn CP enroute to Cu Chi by helicopter.
17	1500	Following vehicles were TI'd this morning from approx 1000 to 1200 hrs: HQ87, HQ9, HQ5, HQ3, HQ10, and Arty LNO Party 3/4 ton truck
22	1850	From 196th Bde to S3: Tomorrow stand-to is cancelled but the 1/3 of all personnel on alert will remain in effect until further notice.

25	0820	Delayed Entry: Notified 2/14 that all troops and equipment would return 14 Sep.
26	0830	2/14 to revert back to normal defensive boundaries on order.
27	0830	2/14 to put out plat size Day and Night patrol in sector on the 13th with a plat size reaction force.
30	0953	1 C&C ship hit by AW fire S of 4/23 psn - pilot KIA - co-pilot WIA - aircraft 150 ft 60 knots at coord 649182 brought to Cu Chi by copilot - 9 hits.
44	1335	A/4/23 patrol spotted 4 VC loc 636199. VC recon by fire, no fire returned. VC moved into open area, patrol fired, result (1) VC KIA (BC). Searching for others. Continued to fire. VC KIA had (1) US Cal .45 pistol (belt & holster) being evac. Also transistor radio.
76	2400	SUMMARY: 1st Bde terminated Opn KIPAPA 121600 hrs Plat size ambush patrol will be conducted by 2/14 Inf beginning at 1400 hrs 13 Sep and returning B/C 140600 hrs, 4/9 Inf preparing for future opn and maintaining security of Laterite Pit. 4/23 care and maint of equip.
