9	0850	S5 departed OAHU Base Camp on MEDCAP mission.
10	0845	Entac Plat security element for Philippine Engr Survey Party closed base camp; left at 0830.
11	0939	Bn CO departed OAHU Base Camp by helicopter for Cu Chi
13	1138	S5 returned to Base Camp after completing MEDCAP at Ap Trai Thuong
14	1205	From Capt Deliz (S2) to S3: Inform Maj Griffith that the man I was to meet isn't here. I'm coming back for chow and will return to meet this man at 1430. (Man referred to above is a Chieu Hoi)
17	1348	S3: Notified 2/1 Inf S3 that several Vietnamese women were observed along the wire line in 2/1 Inf area adjacent to left flank of 2/14th Inf, and that this may be the reason 2/1 Inf has been receiving sniper fire in this area.
18	1349	1st Sgt Co C was directed to check perimeter in Co area to see that no women were along the wire line.
22	1803	From S3 196th Bde: Firing Range has been cleared for use of 2/14 Inf from 0800 to 1700 hrs 6 Sep 66.
