8	0601	Patrol 1 leaving ambush position
12	0810	From A Co to S3: A Co personnel will commence firing on ARVN firing range at approx 0815 hrs.
13	0815	From SP6 Page 2/14 Med to S3: Sgt Richard W. Kaleff A Co is being sent to 196th Inf Bde clearing center for a checkup.
14	0836	Bn CO departed CP area for S4 and will then walk the 2/14 Inf perimeter
15	0836	From S3 to HHC,A,C, B Co 2/1 Inf, S1, S4, Comm: Traffic outside of OAHU Base Camp will be held to a minimum today because of VC holiday.
16	0900	Capt Murphy and party departed Bn CP area on MEDCAP mission
18	0925	S3 to S1 (Capt Vahtel) & Chaplain: All transportation requirements between OAHU Base Camp & Cu Chi will be coordinated through S3 Sec, 2/14 and not through 196th Bde.
19	1100	S3 Rear to S3: Red Cross ladies are to be at 196th Bde Helipad this afternoon at 1720 hours for transportation to Cu Chi.
20	1125	From 196th Bde 14 to S3: 14 directs passengers for 1300 & 1700 flights will be picked up and put down at 196th Bde Pad; No other place. All passenger flights must be requested through S1 196th Bde.
21	1200	From S3 to 196th Bde: Switchboard line between S3 2/14 & S3 196th Bde is out.
22	1310	Entac element on security mission with the Philippine Survey Party leaving friendly front lines
23	1455	C Co wire line out as of 1455 hrs. Notified Commo.
24	1515	Hot line from S3 to S3 196th Bde reestablished.
25	1621	A Co closed in OAHU Base at 1620 hrs from firing conducted at ARVN firing range
27	1720	Entac element on security mission for Philippine Survey Party closed base camp.
28	1825	Late Entry: B Co 2/1st Inf was released from attachment to 2/14 Inf at 020600 Sep 66.
33	2030	Co A requirement for airmobile operations is space for 123 personnel and 3 each 81mm mortars.
