3	0155	Recon plat reorts position number three (3) hit by two Chinese Claymore Mines, no casualties. Also one rifle grenade, returned fire with (2) Claymore mines - no contact firing came from direction of village XT 668149
7	0550	Informed C Company to depart their location at 0700 in order to be back by 0900 in Bn CP, use same route in as they took out
11	0815	Fr. Bde 3 to S-3: General Weyand wants drawing, to scale, of laterite pit to include defense system, location of any early warning system, such as trip flares, booby traps and locaton of VC Claymore mines.
12	0816	SB 20 crossed PL RED, leaving our net, going to their net.
19	1740	Requested UD1D for Recon flight to Tay Ninh for 7 people tomorrow at 1300 Maj Kubas will call back to confirm
20	1850	3rd Plat B Co at laterite requested permission to zero starlight - permission granted
21	1855	Arty LNO gave permission to fire 81mm mortars from C Co in grid square 6617 and 6717 (Grid square 6617 north of A/M)

37	1150	From 2/14: During the night of 28 Jul 66 - 6 to 8 Claymore mines will be detonated in creek by bridge. Have some new ones and three have been there for some time.
