12	1000	Notified B and C company to have patrol leader to S-3 at 1015 for briefing also C Co reaction force leader. A Co platoon size reaction force plat ldr 1015 for briefing
13	1045	B Co needs 20 men for bunker line - personnel coming from HHC combat platoons. (Maj Taylor)
14	1220	Notified by Bde that visitors from MACV would be arriving about 1300
16	1500	A and B Co and plat ldr departed for Recon (air) of tomorrow's objective
18	1815	B Co asked permission to have one man fire his weapon, he is going on patrol, permission given by Lt Ebitz
19	1820	Bde called and said light fire team would be on stand by from 0700 to 1600 and also said he would call back on chopper
20	1849	Maj. Ealer from 65th Engr called. They will start work at 2400 hrs tonight, want us to secure road prior to their arrival. Will comply
21	1855	Laterite pit asked permission to zero 2 sniper scopes O.K. called Bde
22	1935	Notified Bde A/M and bunker line that patrols would be departing late
29	2159	65th Engr called and informed us they were making a mine sweep of the road leading to laterite pit notified Lt Byrne at Laterite pit
33	2330	Bde called and said the 3/4 Cav heard small arms firing in our area. Checked with laterite pit neg also checked patrol 2 neg.
34	2332	C Co patrol reported Arty suppressive fires were too close to ambush site notified Arty LNO who instructed Arty to keep fires above 185 grid line
35	2352	C Co patrol gave cease fire reported 2 rounds HE landed 50 meters north of its position. Notified Arty LNO
