29 0805 Recon reports that convoy in front of base camp will delay his element 30 min. 33 0915 Concentrations FN 045-46 fired for A Co 34 0920 Concentrations for A Co completed saber elements are moving through obj area 35 0925 B Co cleared to test fire small arms on OP A/M 37 0950 Wire report from B Co complete, no cuts or gap in wire 39 1008 A Co located 2 tunnels that moves in 3 directions XT 686123, #1 50 meters long #2 200 meters long, still searching 40 1100 A Co located 1 tunnel w/2 branches #1 8 x 10, #2 2 x 2, tunnel blown 41 1120 Bde 3 notified lawyer 3 that we must stop using our remote sets because the choppers have the series radios and they can't contact us 44 1345 DA6 request permission to begin firing - permission granted 45 1420 DA6 reports tunnel at XT 680127 left branch 15 ft long 2x2 dia destroyed. 46 1425 DA6 reports a tunnel at XT 680127 15 meters long 2nd branch 15 meters long destroyed 47 1440 DA6 reports tunnel at XT 681122 horse shoe shaped with 2 entrances, 20 ft in length, 2x3 in dia 4 ft deep found inside were 1 American made steel pot and some Vietnamese eating utensils, 400 rds SA ammo, 1 1/2 lbs TNT destroyed 58 1502 DA6 reports leaving operation area, returning to base camp 61 1603 DA6 reported element of 3/4 Cav hit a mine at XT 675130 resulting 2 WIA dustoff called by 3/4 Cav on their own push dust off completed 1623 75 2013 DB9 reported Vietnamese talking through a microphone to our left 76 2015 Bunker to the left reported the same thing as item 75 - this is a ciwar team in the village in 4/23 area
