4	0030	Report from bunker at bridge. A spotlight sighted in plantation going from left to right to left. Then left to right and stopped in center of sweep for about 3 seconds, then went out. Magnetic Az from bunker at bridge 360 degrees. A Check with Ann Margaret disclosed that they had seen a light but it was at an Az of 70 degrees. A check with longbow 3 (4/23) was made for possible sight of the light, but their bunker line nor their patrol had sighted it. However their tower guard reported seeing a light reflection apparently from the sky but could not tell its origin or location. Reported to Bde at 0033 hrs.
27	0540	DA9 going back to original ambush site to search for possible WIA or KIA
28	0550	DA9 returned to objective area with neg results.
30	0630	Call from DR6 will have problem
42	1410	To DR6 you have commitment for patrols tonight your presence is desired at this location ASAP
44	1425	From SFC Hollis Bde 33 effective 15 July all 4.2 ammo will be delivered to the front (the front being the area of operation) no ammo will be delivered here (S3 Maj Griffith will handle)
45	1503	To Bde Req 1 light gun team on 15 min standby all pay also 1 slick ship from 0800 to 1800 hrs for C&C
49	1635	Capt Taylor called the H23 chopper was cancelled due to weather.
52	1737	The gun team is approved and if they can't get the slick ship a H23 will be substituted
54	1800	D3 informed opn sq that Dragon 5 said BC would not have the additional people for bunker guard
55	1812	Photo coverage of this area has been req from Bde Sgt Tadlock XT 6709 SW corner XT 6714 NW corner, XT 7109 SE corner, XT 7114 NE corner Tan Phu Trung
56	1950	Capt Williams will fire M79 on river bank at intervals through the night.
58	2035	Bde called said they would have a huey at 0800 for Bn and gun ships would be on stand by
