19	0720	Fwd reports all units on LZ, 3/4 Cav reports sniper fire from 2 VC XT 508180.
20	0735	Patrol DC 2 left (1) Claymore mine at ambush site. Returning to pick it up. Notified C Co to keep 2 squads melted in to civilian personnel.
25	1050	Received word from Bde that Col Sandlin is coming to 2/14 wants to see senior man in charge. Results - C Company to move out on fireball 1130 hours.
26	1113	1 WIA by water buffalo at XT 503171 at 1110 hours; all right - had to kill buffalo.
27	1215	Sitrep lawyer fwd: Saber B 15 hit mine lost 2 road wheel and track on access road to Highway 1.
28	1224	Engr and DL element clearing road of two extra mines.

13	0451	Late entry Arty fire resumed
18	0620	Call from Peanut stock his 10A element has departed. The district chief will be leaving at 0625. He was informed that our element is in position at this time for pick up.
19	0626	DB1 checked hard top no road block
24	0651	30 bandage was fired upon by 2 VC 2 rds SA moving XT 495175 east, fire was returned
25	0700	Maj Griffith new S-3 2/14 is in base camp have CC ship pick him up
27	0705	Saber 10 reports 2 VC snipers firing 3 rds across from XT 508180 engaged by cav results incomplete
31	0815	S&A Plat received 1 rifle grenade in center of his position
35	0849	DB6 reports receiving 1 dud grenade from XT 504172
36	0850	30 Bandages 10A is holding 7 draft dodgers no further info
37	0852	DB6 received 1 rifle grenade from XT 505175. Fire returned results unknown
39	0940	D3 reports command detonated mine (105mm HE dud) with wires leading east XT 509179 destroyed in place.
40	1000	100 ft of wire and electric blasting cap turned over to District Chief
42	1010	B Co stay behind ambush is engaged in fire fight with 7 VC 1 with auto w pn XT 503163
43	1155	District Chief reports that villagers are helpful giving locations of mines and direction VC are heading
44	1130	Dragon Charlie will be committed on fireball mission replacing 4/9 Inf 27th Inf. Will take over bunker line.
45	1130	A Co picked up an elderly man that had over 10000 piasters on him, found in area of fire fight # 50
45	1140	B Co searching area XT 503163 located 1 VC KIA (bc) wearing Blk PJ and webbing with pistol belt
47	1200	Road clearance received for movement of 2 tanks and VTR toward Cu Chi for extraction of bogged APC's
48	1210	Saber 20 Tank hit mine at XT 514191 no injuries track badly damaged are going to recover vehicle.
49	1235	A&B Co have change of mission are returning directly to BC
54	1355	DL6 returning to BC 1 mine destroyed in place the other to be destroyed after removing tank
63	1718	S-4 picked up medical supplies and is moving to Trang Bang for delivery of items
64	1806	Call from Dragon 4 he will be in our location in 10 min
65	1807	Sitrep to Bde sit unchanged since last report. Report of enemy expenditures of ammo 3 live mines and 1 dud. Neutralized 2 live grenades and 1 dud 38 rds small arms.
66	1816	Call from D4 mission accomplished his elements are back from Trang Bang from water resupply
73	2030	A Co reports seeing 3 suspected VC in front of their bunker line, fired at VC XT 517196 with no hits, called mortar fire on position where VC were moving to.
74	2050	1st Bde reports that a message from Trung Lap ranger station 1600 hrs 50 VC were seen dressed in blk uniforms XT 574178

5	1622	Rec Cas Rept Battle-NON. A/2/14 Dela-Cruz, Angel Jr. SSGT E6 021030 Jul 66. XT505185. Bruises stomach, right left arm. S&D msn, was moving towards village searching houses and was charged by water buffalo.
