My dad Norman E. Gilbert Jr. arrived in Korea in the spring of 1952 as part of the 14th Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, Company K. He attended basic training in November 1951 at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation in the Blue Mountains of Pennsylvania and was commissioned to Korea in 1952. In the late spring of 1953, after 11 months and 22 days of service, he headed home from Korea, returning to Indiantown Gap for approximately 3 weeks. He was then transferred to Blackstone VA. On August 19th,1953, he separated from the service and moved back home to North Tonawanda NY. Dad was born February 27, 1928 and died March 25, 1995. ...Judy Smith
